The past couple of days I've been spending a lot of time fooling around with photoshop. I know that's all I've been talking about lately. After spending lots of time looking at lovely blogs, it's a need to know. Especially if you are like me and don't take the best photos. It really is amazing what you can achieve. This image is a little vignette from on top of my cabinet. More home photos to come.

ART IN THE ROUGH

Just a quick post to let everyone know I am back from ART IN THE ROUGHhttp://www.naveljellystudios.com/ . What an amazing event. I just got home after a 9 hour drive from Maine. Here's a quick pic of the dress form I created. Robin Betterley is incredible. What an amazing teacher and such a lovely woman. She has helped me bring my dress forms to a whole new level.

I'll be posting about the entire event by the end of the week. Just wanted to give you a little eye candy for now. So check back soon for the low down on the entire event.

FLEAMARKET FIND

Finally I have returned..... Been to Cape May. Had a wonderful time. Fresh air, lots of beach, and most of all relaxing. After Cape May, I came home for a few days and went to work. (yuk) Then the Hubs, the pixie  and I went for a quick trip to see my in-laws in Miami. Yes I've had two wonderful trips I'm a lucky girl. This is also what I've been up to...........

My lovely flea market find. This piece is the perfect shades of beachy blue aqua, gray, and white. It was filthy. I've spent the day scrubbing it and sealing it. But let me tell you, I love it!!!!! Right now in is in my hallway. I'm going to try to find a home for it in  my studio. There's really no space, but this piece is perfect for it. So I'm gonna try to squeeze it in tomorrow. I'll let ya know how it goes.

THE BEACH ANYONE

I think this little guy needs a date for the beach. He's so cute, and light as a feather. He's made of this very thin celluloid like plastic. I just love posing him around the studio.

I worked on this necklace today, for my sister in law. She's really into the symbol "the hand of Fatima"....I think that's what it's called. I don't know much about it but I think it's to ward off evil. My pictures are so bad. I really have to work on my photography skills. I mean no skills!!!! I say this all the time but this pic really doesn't do it justice.
